Recipe: CHOC/COCONUT SLICE

Remake of an old favourite of mine! This recipe is refined sugar free, gluten free and bloody delicious!

BASE - blend together and press into a tray: * 2 cups desiccated coconut * 10 medjool dates, seeds removed * 3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa * 1 tablespoon honey * 1 tablespoon coconut cream * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * pinch of salt

MIDDLE - mix in a bowl with a spoon: * 2 cups desiccated coconut * 2 tablespoons honey * 1 tablespoon coconut cream

TOP: in a pot on low heat, combine: * 6 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder * 4 tablespoons coconut oil, liquified * 2 tablespoons maple syrup * 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut


Layer your slice and allow to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours!
